Wonders of nature
The peacock, Paul, is a wonder of elegance. The colours, the patterns, the symmetry. His outfit is like the finest evening dress in the most wonderful silk. And to top it all he has a magnificent little crown on his head.
In Spring 2013, Paul acquired a wife. We thought it was too lonesome for him (to just hang out with hens, turkeys and ducks) so a peahen moved in. Her name is Paulette.
Every year they get young ones – little peachicks.
